Guys Today I am gonna present you a trick through which you will be able to hide your LAST NAME in Facebook.
Actually Indonesian users are officially allowed to display only FIRST NAME. So we will make use of Indonesian Proxy in our Trick.
Let us proceed towards the steps:

Let us proceed towards the steps:
1: Login to your Facebook account and select Account Settings.
2: Change the Language to Bahasa Indonesia.
3: Now, go to the website
Copy the Proxy address and Port. Mostly, depend on recent proxies which has high speed and lifetime. Some of the proxy may not work but most proxies will work.
4: Now, press Winkey + R to open Run window. Type inetcpl.cpl and hit Enter.
5: In the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings dialog box, click on Connections tab. Click on the LAN settings button.
6: Tick the Use Proxy Server for your LAN option. Paste the Proxy address and Port which you got from the above link (Step #3).
7: Click on the OK button. Now, try to change your name on your Facebook account as you do normally. Leave the Last Name empty. Enter your password and save settings.
Is Done!, Facebook has accepted your name change now.
After changing your name, please see that you revert the settings that you have made. That is, remove the proxy from LAN settings and change your Facebook language.

DeleteActually sir, it does, I just did..it worked fine...and once you're done doing it you can go back to LAN settings and uncheck the proxy settings, it won't affect it.

use firefox instead, put the proxy there in tools>options>advance>network>settings paste the proxy and port there and check "use this proxy for all protocols." then follow step 7 and your done! dont forget to revert back, you dont want to read bahasa dont you?
ReplyDeleteYes your method is absolutely correct.But your method works for firefox only.. if you r using chrome or other browser you can use this method... Nd i have mentioned about reverting the settings in the last line.
